GT Aggressor Pro

I hunted down a severely neglected GT Aggressor Pro on Facebook and scored it for a whopping $50. The goal was to get a family member riding and get him on to a capable entry level bike on a budget. That budget was $300, all in.

A $50 busted up GT Aggressor Pro

Upon closer inspection, this bike was in need of a serious overhaul. The chain was rusted stiff, the rear derailleur hanger was broken along with the derailleur itself. The front fork seals were destroyed, the saddle padding had deteriorated to nothing. The tires were bald. And the bottom bracket was nearly seized! This thing needed some good love!

Luckily, I had a few parts laying around to help keep the spending in check and give this Aggressor Pro the componentry it deserved.
